A commitment to care

I want you to have a meaningful, successful experience in this class. Life happens. If something gets in the way, let me know and I will do my best to help you while respecting your wishes for confidentiality. I will always treat you with respect and listen if something is affecting your ability to make the most of this class.  In return, I ask that you communicate openly with me and help create a classroom built on respect, compassion, and understanding. This means being courteous in emails and office hours and being considerate of others’ opinions and lived experiences.
